The European Society of Preventive Medicine (ESPM) and Ageing Research at King’s (ARK) are proud to unveil their new collaborative initiative. Marking the inauguration of this partnership is a collaborative symposium slated to take place at the iconic Science Gallery located within the premises of Guy’s Hospital Campus on Wednesday, 27 September 2023. This event is open to all interested participants; however, registration via Eventbrite (link provided below) is a pre-requisite for attendance.

This transformative partnership between ESPM and ARK aims to bridge the realms of fundamental research, clinical practice, and the larger community’s physical, psychological, and financial health. With an emphasis on the foresight and mitigation of chronic diseases and age-associated ailments, the mission is holistic – spanning the entirety of the human lifespan. The roadmap ahead includes a slew of public outreach events, symbiotic academia-industry workshops, and enlightening sessions tailored for the educational needs of postgraduate students, clinical apprentices, postdoctoral researchers, and the broader healthcare workforce.
